People come to Grace Chapel to not just come for dinner anymore. They come to receive healing and restoration. It is always an interesting shock at the outcome of that restoration because the Lord raises people up and sends them out. Pastor Jim said to a group meeting one evening about the vision that Grace Chapel had as a church....He said that Grace Chapel is like a Lighthouse shining in the darkness. At the point of asking what happens when lights shine in the darkness...it draws bugs...."hurting people". People without a sense of direction. People needing healing & restoration. People needing the Love of God. And so we work... and its a team effort. Ministry happens at every level and time frame of our lives. As a historically based church in southern Delaware county for over 150 years, This little Lighthouse has shined out over a large area of land. Ministry extends from "sea to shining sea" and as far reaching into places such as Callabasse, Haiti and into areas of Mexico. Currently, we actively work in southern Delaware County to bring children in of the local neighborhoods for a quickly excellerating education program called AWANA. God is good to bring us those with whom our hands can work diligently to recover them from the snare of the enemy. We're moving on!

Grace Chapel Community Church, after approximately 80 years decided to incorporate with the same fervor and drive that was there when they first started. Upon incorporation filing, Trustees stated that we were formed for "the promotion of the Christian religion through the preaching of the Word of God, the administration of the sacraments, ordinances and other means of grace, the maintenance of worship, the edification of believers, the winning of new converts to the Christian faith, and the promotion of missionary and benevolent causes..." - January 31, 1962
As of 2010, we still make decisions by the conviction of the Holy Spirit to promote the Christian faith through preaching of the Word of God. We invite you to become a part of the Grace Chapel Community Church today.....and a piece of its history tomorrow.
