We are excited for your child to grow in the Lord and flourish here. We are sure that our Awana club will be a place of learning and excitement that will have a positive influence on your child.
Since 1950, Awana has grown from a one-church program into a ministry that includes more than 6,500 churches in the United States and another 1,300 in more than 80 countries worldwide. Local churches reach hundreds of thousands of young people every week by using the Awana program.
The goal of Awana is to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him. Awana stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed and comes from the scripture-2 Timothy 2:15 "Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth."
Thank you for the opportunity to acquaint you with the Awana ministry of Grace Chapel Community Church, and how it can benefit not only your child, but your entire family! We look forward to serving you and your child through Awana this year!
If you are not already involved in a local church, we invite you to attend our worship service on Sundays at 10:00 a.m. and Winning Way Wednesdays at 7pm. Sunday evenings at 6pm we have Bible study for adults and our Awana program! Please come and see us soon, because your kids matter to God and to us.
